Default Universial Restore / Convert Backup to Virtual Disk

I'm a bit confused on how Universal Restore can be used (if at all) with the Convert Backup to Virtual Disk functionality.

If I'm doing a physical-to-virtual of one of our servers and I convert the backup(s) to virtual disk(s), vmware should be able to recognize the converted disks, but at what point do the drivers get switched out? Since there's only a conversion and not a restore it would seem that the hardware drivers wouldn't be replaced at all.

Hello austinnichols,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that conversion is a complex process, and the driver addition is integrated with it.

You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image 10.0 in the respective User's Guide.

Thank you.
