Default BSOD

I'm real tired of the slow boots etc & trying hard to stay positive but on my most recent boot got the old BSOD & it's a first on the vista machine & trust me I'm not happy. Would some kind person at ESET please tell us what is going on. Something anything would be so apprecaited ...
