Default VPN as protection of wireless

MY friend told me that the VPN service like http://strongvpn.com/ is probably the best and easiest way to protect my data and prevent unauthorized access. Also I have a problem of blocking sites, which the VPN has solved.
May be anyone has more cookies?

I have not tried that one. I use XeroBank VPN. But if your VPN is anything like Xerobank, then it is pretty cool, in my opinion.

I just looked and they give you a US IP. I assume they also log your data. If you download music or anything, I assume that a simple search warrant would force them to give you up.

You would think that authorities would only be interested in terrorists. but they have been spying on faith based groups, PETA, and anyone that has an alternative idea about anything at all. So I am not so sure that it would be a good idea to be in the US.
