After upgrading from 2.7 to 3.0 on a windows 2K server I recieved the following error:
Analysis of application protocols will not function I remember that there were items in 2.7 that needed to be disabled (IMON and something else) on a server for it to function properly and at first thought this might have something to do with it. However, after upgrading a windows 2003 server I did not receive this same error. I have searched this forum as well as the ESET site to no avail. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. |

Please check in the device manager - non-PnP devices - whether the epfw, epfwtdi, epfwtdir and epfwndhk drivers are actually loaded and working properly.

The only one present is epfwtdir, however it has a yellow exclamation point: "The device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all it's drivers installed (Code 24)." I did an uninstall and reinstall with the same results. None of the other drivers you listed are present. Last edited by andreseng : December 6th, 2007 at 11:21 AM. |
