Default Avast! and virus called Win32:Notre

Yesterday my AV detected this virus but ... no other AV confirmed that my pagefile was indeed infected ... is this a false positive ? Anybody else with the same problem? I googled and obviously many other Avast! users experience the same thing : only Avast! seems to be capable to detect this virus ...

BTW : can I delete this pagefile ? It's on the HD which is NOT in use...

If it was found in the pagefile, it may well be a false positive.

BTW I don't really recommend deleting the file.

I'd recommend going to forum.avast.com and start a new topic about this there.

Thanks

Pagefile can be safely deleted anytime you want. OS recreates it by itself if it's ot present. You have to disable it by hand first, otherwise it's locked by OS.
