Default Repeated Hack Attempts

Someone with the I.P address 144.131.172.153 keeps trying to hack me.
First they try to get into my home FTP with an administrator access, then they tried to reset my waffles.fm password.
What do I do?

Yes Do That. Then if you have a firewall Load the Address into the Blocked address list. If you don't have one that allows you to do this get one like Private Firewall ZA Pro or others. there is a free one sygate that will allow you to do this. Change your Password to your program. Then check your computer for virus' scan with your antivirus. Alternatively download & use Dr Web cureit. There a couple malware scanners you could try like
A2 fre or Super anti Spyware.

Try here gm1 - http://articles.techrepublic.com.com...1-6171339.html

For some reason, you'll have to copy, paste, then remove the asterisk for this next one.

Alpha Shield hardware firewall from Radio Shack would probably stop them.

no point in reporting since the chance of somebody being stupid enough to try and bruteforce from their own adress is minimal.

portscan him back, see if there's any half open relays or RATs, to make sure.
