Default can not update windows I am administator

can not get any info or help from windows microsoft web site. can not update windows because the message says i have to be logged on as an admin. i and the 3 accounts are all admins on thjs laptop.in task manager panel/users tab it list me as console, seems to have been admin or user before the download from rude.com that made the desktop and browser look like an uneven rectangle, and system restore will not work it is on but never works

If it addresses the wrong os, forward the one your on. Include the *type* of file you downloaded.
