have you tried with different media ? I can not interpret the data you have given but I see you are using MBI 01 - RG40 I think you could get better disks
Taiyo Yuden would be ideal but even Verbatim might be better.

anyway it would be a good idea to see if you have the same problem with different disks.

Courtesy author's site. I been getting errors lately with Nero thinking my Discs were at fault, but since turning to this freeware ISO Burner, all that is changed. It might be worth a look into. That way you can really determine if it's your burner or not. Hope this might be of some help for you.

FYI, i have Phillips, Optimum, TDK and they copy perfectly now. The Sony & Memorex CD/DVD failures prompted me to try cheaper quality discs and at least they work!

Also i scaled back some on my burning speeds under their claimed defaults just to play it safe, so far so good lately.

Regards EASTER

Beside's the ram question laith, did this inability to burn dvd's start after trying any other burning soft?
How's your drive doing as far as free space? Is there more than one copy of wnaspi32.dll aboard?

PS - Space not the problem? Pick-up a cd lens cleaner.

Four of what? Not much if these are movie's. Window's installed on one partition (your entire drive)?
Do you run any file cleaning utilities? CleanUp, CCleaner? You have access to a lens cleaner?

Alright, second class but should work - http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
1.0 usb and 67% mem use? Burn offline with what isn't essential shut down.

From the description at your 1st post it seems that either the drivers of your OS do not work properly or you have a faulty drive.

Go at the device manager find the Ide Ata/Atapi controllers
and select uninstall. Then reboot your machine. Windows will reinstall those drivers automatically after the reboot.

If this does not fix it, it is probably a faulty recorder.
