Default Firewall with limited account

Upgraded to ess and ran the install. Great program overall, I like it quite a bit!

1 issue though. I did a custom install at 1st, and chose for the firewall to be set for interactive mode.

Well, under a limited user account, opening opera or firefox, under the allow prompts, it is not possible to choose to have it remember the setting (as in allow the connection)

I've since gone back to an earlier image and have gone with the firewall in auto mode.

I'd really like this to be corrected.

Thanks

Michael.

No correction needed as this is not a bug but simply how user accounts work in Windows

Read these and make egui.exe run permanently as Administrator:

Hi!

Thank you for responding.

I'm unable to find those settings.

I'm using XP Pro sp2.

Thanks!
