Default No System Restore Points

Hello,

My laptop (Dell Inspirion E1705) is infected with spyware/ adware/ malware and I'm trying to do a system restore. The problem is that there are no dates for me to go back to, except earlier today. Tomorrow it will only let me restore to tomorrow, not today. If I can't perform a system restore then I would like to completely reboot my laptop to the factory settings. I have all important things on a disc so I'm not worried about saving things. Dell sent me a backup of all discs that my laptop should come with, but there is no disc for a factory reboot. I just want to be able to use my laptop again without the spy/ad/malware.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

JDevine86,

Are you considering a Dell System Restore. Sounds good. It will fix your problem. Do you have your music, photos etc in a backup? Your computer will be restored to the same status as the day it was delivered to you.
