I'm sorry my friend but when you're hospitalized there's really not a lot you can do - I couldn't even watch TV let alone access the Internet, and required assistance to simply get out of bed to stand up. It was a strange experience in my life, especially as I had never been unconscious before. When I 'woke up' I didn't even realise I had been unconscious until the doctor told me, which was very surreal - I kept on wondering "why is he talking to me about being unconscious?!?"

I am disappointed more than anybody because I can see that many people have made up their own opinions already without even knowing what has happened, so my hospital bills will be a lot more expensive than they look on paper, but I understand and respect that. I think when you get involved in a car crash you're going to pay for it bigtime one way or the other, even when you aren't at fault.

But I have spent all my adult life developing unique, advanced, POWERFUL security software for Windows, and I have many tens of thousands of users around the world who endorse my software, and I'm not going to let a little car accident get in my way of providing them with even better and more powerful software.

Probably annoys me even more. I am paranoid about it. If i have to choose between ultimate protection but heavy and moderate protection but light, i take the latter any day. I don't mind much about RAM nowdays (it's too cheap), but i can't stand CPU hungry security applications.

Interesting idea, we'll definately have to take it into consideration for this next release - thankyou for your input.

That would be great! Often i had many installers in the rules or exes that i had uninstalled, yet the rules were still there cluttering the rule set.

Thank you. And don't worry. With time, even your most severe critics, will think that life isn't just a PC application, bad things can happen, more important than a software license and i am sure that the merit of your applications will win many back. Also your offer of free upgrade to the next PG version, i am sure that will soften many that feel "cheated".

I completely understand you. You had more things to think about, or rather, what else was there to think about.
I don't think knowing what happened, anyone can criticize you, personally.

Do note not all people advising against purchasing from DiamondCS had strong feelings against you. Most simply didn't know anything, and did the reasonable thing. Be cautious.

Hi Wayne and welcome back. I'm glad that you recover. I know what it is as I was myself involved in a car accident many years ago and was left for dead.

Now I have only one question. Why during all this time when everyone was fuming against DiamondCS, nobody from your family, your secretary or your friends did not come here on this Forum and let everybody know about your accident? It would have made things easier for you...

Welcome back. I am a long time customer of yours and have spoken to you via e-mail a few times. You may, or may not remember, but you were quite helpful.

I am a huge fan of Port Explorer. It is one of the most under appreciated security and system tools there is.

Several months ago I wanted to buy some more licenses of Port Explorer, but your web site had changed so dramatically that it made me suspicious. I came here and found this thread. Now that you are back, maybe you can answer some technical questions that were giving me reservations at the time.

First, I know that your web site says that Port Explorer will work on all versions of windows. But as far as I know, there has not been a new version of Port Explorer in years (your site does not mention the latest version number either). Does it really work with both 64 and 32 bit versions of Vista? Are there any limitations that I can expect?

Second, I have read in this thread where some people have tried to order your software and not been successful. Have you cleared up any issues that you were having?

I must disappoint Diamond CS developers and PR writers.

phide_ex is a hybrid system thread, it doesn't have any drivers, so detection of phide_ex.sys is full fake and given probably by a lot of hooking or using Notify routines. But you can even zero all memory occupated by this driver and phide_ex will still work, that because it doesn't have "drivers". Very interesting also KPEB.

Glad to hear that you came out ok from the accident. I thought it was odd that the website was still up and running even though support appeared to have "vanished". I have come across other websites that are outdated and were never updated after many years. I guess somebody must be keeping the site up and has paid the bills. Hope that you can manage your medical bills. I was not involved in a car accident, but have to manage the medical costs for my dad who incurred close to a million dollars in costs from his accident. Hope that you can get back on track and answer your "mountain" of email messages. Some people at work said if I took off or retired, then the **** is going to hit the fan.

But I do know what it feels like to be out of action for a long time, I hope you can whip your company back in to shape.......A little message posted on your website would have gone a long way to clarify just what happened...there was on theiory that the business was sold or somebody else was running it.

I am sure that users are and will be more interested in a newer version of PG than Deep System Explorer.

Deep System Explorer doesn,t even seem to be a software for beginners and there are many other such ARK tools already in the market. I don,t think it is going to make a big splash or generate a big revenue.

IMO if DCS wants to survive, they should put their energies in PG and Port Explorer. They even might want to develop a behav blocker like ThreatFire or a SandBox application. That will give them revenue.

I agree. People that use advanced apps, prefer prevention anyway more than detection.PG is light and newbie friendly, so i think it will have a success. I also agree that people would be very interested in behaviour blocker or sandbox from DiamondCs, specially if they maintain their tradition in lightness and clean-simple GUI.

I would have to say I was probably one of if not the first here that was upset
because support stopped. In my post on the second page of this thread, i said i wouldn't think twice about buying your software again if you came back and posted here. I bought all DCS software and got a free license for PG besides.
I still use PG but not PE. If this new program is as good as you say, I am sure I will purchase it too.

trojan unhooker attacks. Suggestion: win32k and ntkrnlpa lock up.

Yes proactive is good. Better to catch the nasty before one gets infected.

Also I am wondering why the PG download is still showing 3.2 on the new site and the last released version was 3.410.

Sorry to hear about your accident and glad to hear you are going to be ok.

Before you get in too big of a rush to get this beta out the door is there any chance you could fix what you have now so people can actually buy the software you have now. Mainly your license server so when people pay they can actually get a license code instead of a blank email, and then your website so they can actually download the full latest version, and your support so if something does screw up in the process they can actually get an answer back.

I have tried twice, unsuccessfully, as I know many others have, to get a license for the full version of Processguard. I use and like the free version but I would like to have the "full meal deal". However, paying out hard earned money for a blank email does not make happy customers or a good reputation.
