Because many of you seem to be concern about this tests here is the solution!
(This it's for windows VISTA but i think it works for XP too!)Go to "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" in "Outbound rules" create a new rule to block connections for "%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" then install Firefox go to Firefox's about:config and block referers, also block cookies or just set Firefox to ask you every time if you want to accept cookies (because some sites need cookies to let you login) and that's it! If you don't believe me go and put this to the test(s) ![]() |

If you want to increase your security look in NOD32 beta2's "advance setup\Web access protection\HTTP\Web browsers" for programs which connect to internet and create in vista's "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" in "Outbound rules" a new rule to block connections for those you want to block!

I will not debate if PC Flank's info it's trustworthy or not (like i said above i post this because many seem to be concern about this tests) i just want to ask you if your results are obtain using my method or not?
I mean, are you using other firewall beside the one built-in and which windows do you use? |

I have a cable connection with a Linksys WRT54GL v 1.1 running on DD-WRT firmware with SPI firewall.
With that I use to use ZA Pro but it's been giving me grief for a while with zclient hanging on shutdown so I started looking for a new option. Now using the Eset Beta with firewall,(purchased a NOD 32 license) mainly to monitor what is trying to connect out as the router has everthing stealth coming in.. I hope ![]() |

So basically NO!
This post was just to prove that with only windows firewall and firefox you can pass ALL (including Leaktest) PCFlank's tests! I suggest you to use nod32 beta2's "Web browsers" feature Quote:

All you need to pass these tests is a decent router which has a firewall, which everyone should have anyway.

Including Leaktest and referer ? I doubt that ! Did you pass all tests only with that ? ![]() |

Passed all PC Flank tests for me. I sit behind an Actiontech router from Verizon also, but the firewall passes fine at PC Flank and GRC.com.
