restore two files from not an image archive

I use True Image Home 10. I backup some files and folders. I want restore two files from archive. I select them (there are in different folders) but when the procedure finished, I can see only one of them. It's not an image (but a files and folders backup) so I can't mount it.

 

There's a good chance they were restored elsewhere. Do an extensive file search just to be sure. Did you check your log files?

 

I have searched but nothing.

Try restoring them again but this time, restore them into a different folder. If successful, then you can move them wherever.

 

Another way of doing things would be to
1. Open the folder where you intend the copy or replacement to occur. Adjust the size of the window for it is approx. half size.
2. Double click on the .tib (file & folder backup) file containing the backup copies.
Repeat the dbl clicking until you find the backup files.
3. Click on both files so both are highlighted. Then drag the backup copies into the intended folder (as used in step 1). You should then be prompted to copy or replace, etc.
4. After completion of the coy, then close all windows.
5. Locate the folder used in step 1 and your files should be there.

If you haven't already done so, you should do a full disk (all partitions) backup of your entire drive. A Files & Folders backup cannot restore your system.
