MS Office Recent Files Won't Delete

MRC Blaster won't delete the MS Office recent files opened list. I've rebooted but the lists remain. Neither will MS tool provided fo this purpose delete the lists. Any ideas as to why and how I go about getting rid of these lists? Thanks.

I just view this post... maybe never to late to know!

I run 98se and all the file open whith Office 97 are log in C:\WINDOWS\offitems.log

I rename that file, wait few days whitout any problem and finally delete the file log.

On XP and others Office I dont know. Try it.

Search for offitems.log maybe it's another location on XP.
