Is NOD32 going to be compatible with the new Windows Home Server OS, it seems to be getting a mixed reaction to NOD32 and WHS regarding performance/stability?

It should be working . I read it is based on Microsoft 2003 server technologies

yes based on Server 2003 but it is different, i.e. it's designed to be used without screen or keyboard attached rather you do it via a mmc snap-in on a remote pc to administer everything so configuring NOD32 will be a little difficult, i don't think you'll even be able to buy a WHS server with a screen or keyboard. So far we've had quite a mixed reaction from the WHS beta testers regarding NOD32.

Well , this is new technology , I am not so familiar with it . I know everything available for the public written on the Microsoft page and I have watched a few presentations about it . NOD32 works perfect with Windows 2003 server and since this is based on it , it should be working , this is what I think . On all kind of servers IMON must be disabled .
ESET can comment further on this . You may also call or mail them http://www.eset.eu/support/form/ http://www.eset.com/partners/worldwide.php |
