Default Imaging with Vista

Just a bit of info.

Using Paragon HD Manager 8.5 on this Vista install which seems to work fine for imaging C - restoring C on a partitioned drive.

Norton Ghost 2003 was and still is used on my XP installs and for some reason I just like Ghost better.

Installed Ghost 2003 on Vista and I did manage to get it working with the "-noide" switch but still had a prob rebooting into windows after it successfully created the image. This required the "ghreboot.exe" command initiated from a "Boot Me" floppy which was copied to the floppy in order to get back into Vista.

Far too much mucking around so I made a Ghost boot floppy and made an image through dos which seemed to work fine.

Select Partition - To Image.

Haven't tried a restore with GHost as yet but hopefully will be just as smooth as creating the image.

Vista Ultimate's backup seems to work ok as well which does a hot backup but requires a boot from the install cd to restore.
