Unhappy Internet Explorer opening multiple times..

I am not sure what my children have done to my desk top, however Internet Explorer has opened over 80 times on its own. We have Nod on our computers and my lap top is fine.

If you have any info on a new virus that may have attacked my computer please let me know

I have seen this to happen many times on atleast two PCs with XP and IE6.
No malware in all cases. Seems an IE bug. Was it like this?
