Default Acronis 10 and XP SP1

I just downloaded the Acronis 10 update but discover that it specifies XP SP2 for OS. I am running XP SP1 so what is the impact - can I use 10? I have been using Acronis 8

Hello briang,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that Acronis True Image 10.0 Home will most likely work on Windows XP SP1. However, please be aware that when running Acronis True Image within Windows it uses Windows drivers to handle the hardware. Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes many new drivers and fixes for old ones, so we recommend you to use Acronis True Image 10.0 Home with SP2 to avoid some possible problems.

Thank you.
