Default Anonymous at Hotspot

Hi... i use my laptop at my work's hotspot everyday. i need to know how to change my laptop settings so that when i connect to the hotspot i will appear to be an entirely different laptop.

so far i know that i have to change my Computer ID and Wireless Mac Address. is that all or do i need to do more? should i use a different browser than the one i normally do when i want to appear as a different computer?

thank you - thank you - thank you in advance!

Try Hotspot Shield, it creates a VPN between you and the wireless client so you are secure.

If you have $300 spare:Steganos Secure VPN

This is a business solution I think they have a cheaper VPN product for home users.

HotspotVPN.com

I've used them for over two years with no problems. $8.88 a month. Well worth the peace of mind.
