after downloading nero7 my nod32 quarantined one of its file and send automatically to NOD32 for analysis. so what should i do next after the file is quarantine?
Here are a couple of threads to read through concerning Nero. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=162278 https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=169610
thanks for the info. i run on-demand scanner and did not clean the file at quarantine (?). so how NOD32 will cure this file at the quarantine, do i need for the update or just delete the file?
As I stated in the second thread posted by ronjor, you should be quite fine with adding the whole installation package of Nero to AMON exclusions (temporariliy). The file flagged is a toolbar, a kind of ad. It is quite harmless, but in most cases unwanted by users. During the installation of Nero, on one of "next" screens you will see a radar bow where you can safely exclude the toolbar from Nero installation. Watch for that. When you are finally finished with installation, remove the install package from AMON exculsions. That's about it. Have a nice day/night Cheers.
thanks. i dont have problem with NEro7 installation. i already installed nero and works good. my concern is the file in quarantine (even though it harmless). do i need to delete that or wait for the cure from nod?
There is no cure for that file. It's an ad (adware). You can safely delete it from the quarantine. Cheers fce
