Clarify : does this mean that 1) The 2.000.8 PCU was flawed because missing some files, and the special update fixes the PCU or INSTEAD: 2) The 2.000.8 was flawed AND STILL IS, and the special update is not a fix, but a [i]replacement(/i] of the 2.000.8 PCU? There seems to be a contradiction here, for on one hand they say that the special update "patches" the new PCU (like making it a "final" 2.000.8 PCU, inc. the missing files), but on the other hand they say they PULLED OUT THE 2.000.8 PCU! So which is correct? Has the 2.000.8 PCU been fixed by the update (thus is the new PCU still valid) or is the 2.000.8 PCU no longer valid, and the new update just removes all traces of it? ![]() |

The way I read jan's post I believe that the original 2.000.8 PCU has been pulled completely and the current update just includes the files that were missing from the original PCU. If you did not DL the update yesterday then there is nothing for you DL at the present time. If you did DL it then today's update merely completes what you DL'd yesterday.

Yes, but then again U say that today's special update completes the 2.000.8 version, which implies that the 2.000.8 PCU IS necessary, thus contradicting the fact that this 2.000.8 PCU will, on the other hand, be removed from the site !?! ![]() |

The way I read the annoucement, this is true. Today's update provides the missing module(s) that would have allowed yesterday's update to work without a problem. Quote:
It was removed "temporarily". Read the rest of what Jan said... Quote:
That update will be reposted in a couple days. |

hehe - what d'you know - I read Jan's post somewhat hastily, I guess - saw 'offline' instead of 'online'.
What a waste of a thread. *embarassment way beyond what the 'embarrased' icon could express* |

BTW, when will the full (and fixed) 2.000.8 version be available for download?
