FYI...borders on the "unbelievable":- http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tre...asp?frame=true "No Security Bulletins for December Monthly Release (December 9, 2003). Microsoft had no security bulletins to release December 9, 2003, as part of its monthly release cycle for December. If the need arises for emergency patches, they will be issued outside the monthly releases..." -

"...Frequency and Timing - Microsoft will release security bulletins on the second calendar Tuesday of every month...A calendar of security bulletin release dates for the rest of 2003 and 2004..." (Hmmm, "policy change" this month, again, I guess.)

FYI...Mystery patch blots Microsoft's fix-free month http://news.com.com/2102-1002_3-5119...=st_util_print "...On Wednesday morning, Microsoft discovered that a glitch in the patching process resulted in a November fix not being applied to some Windows XP computers. The same patch was sent out again via the Windows update service on Tuesday night. The company is still investigating why and how the patch was reissued..." - Hmmm... (Also, see this thread: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showt...9310#msg109310 )
