How to find my drivers!

    Hello!

    I would like to do a reinstallation of my system using FDISR on empty snapshot. I have my windows cd, but how can i find what drivers i need load afterswards? My pc is dell and it came with lot of crapp programs on it. I just want to put back what i really need.

    Just go to the Dell site and look up your Model name\number. They will have the drivers there. :)

    There are other options. Programs that will search your HDD for non-native Windows drivers. None that I know of that are free. IMO, the Dell site is your best\cheapest way to go.

    This what i have been looking for. I am at work today, but first change i get i will try it. Have you used it?

    Not that specific App. but very many others from Snaps. because they
    are checked - never has one missed a beat, - and I always read the reviews - which I did re. this App. - they are very good - only thing I am not big on
    is the Free registration after 30 days, but you will probably
    round up your drivers etc. in 30 minutes.

    Before I started using an OS imager I used the Driver collecter and backerupper called,
    ' Win Driver Backup PE ' which was really very good, and the last freeware edition
    is still available at a few places,

    scroll down approx. 100mm.

    The newer 'paid' version does other things as well apparently.
