I have never used it but if it was set to prompt instead of auto delete it might be worth investigating. It surely shouldn't hurt with the prompt setting.
I might give it a closer look tomorow. thanks for the link MD. bigc

It is a safe scanner to use, if that's what your wondering. It has been mentioned around here several times in the past. Now as to how effective it really is at finding the latest trojans on your system, that's another story. I have heard, but can't confirm, that it's database is somewhat dated also.
I would rather use Ewido and/or A2 for trojan detection. Both are free and work very well, (Ewido updates daily it seems) though you have to download and install them on your computer. |
