Default Warning: new worm/virus in the wild

Although not named yet, a new virus (worm?) has been detected in the wild today.

charasteristics:

- comes as an attachment, named pics.exe
- size 36 kb, packed
- runs on Windows9x only
- Windows has to be in C:
- polymorphic
- kills files
- renames files

Activating this one by opening the attachment will havoc your system.

Updates regarding AVs should be on the way.

regards.

paul

Quite so. Nevertheless, If I had to spend a dime for every attachment opened without any precaution in any way, It would cost me probably millions *
