Default Upgrading older versions

Information on uninstalling the old version of Process Guard

Please follow these steps to be sure you have no problems.

1) Start the old version as normally, and it shouldn't complain that it couldn't attach to the driver. If you have this problem, get it to attach first before proceeding, or see manual uninstalling at the bottom of this thread.

2) Now CLOSE Process Guard, allowing uninstallation.

3) UNinstall from the Programs menu, then reboot your machine

Step-by-Step guide to Manually Uninstalling Process Guard

You will probably never need to do this. This should only be required if you run into any strange problems with Process Guard that doesn't allow you to boot into your operating system normally.

1) Reboot your operating system into SAFE-MODE. To do this Reboot your machine, and just after your BIOS screen disappears keep pressing the F8 key. A menu should appear, select "Safe Mode" and press Enter.
2) Run Process Guard's uninstall utility. You can see this from the Start Menu -> Process Guard -> Uninstall.
3) To verify the removal, make sure procguard.sys does not exist in (c:\windows\system32\drivers) directory, and that procguard.dll and pguard.dat are not in your system32 directory (c:\windows\system32). If they still exist delete them.
4) Reboot your machine and Process Guard should now be removed.

Thumbs up Licensed users - upgrading to version 3!

To upgrade to Version 3 you'll need a new serial, which is available FOR FREE to all existing ProcessGuard registered users (even if the only version of ProcessGuard you ever bought was version 1!)

To obtain your serial for ProcessGuard 3 simply log into the DiamondCS Members Area at http://www.diamondcs.com.au/members/

Once inside the Members Area, go to the ProcessGuard sub-section and you'll see your new serial, as well as brief installation instructions.

To activate your serial in ProcessGuard simply click on the "Register" button and paste your serial into the large textbox.

That's all! ProcessGuard 3 will now be registered to YOU.

Additional licenses can be obtained at http://www.diamondcs.com.au/processg...?page=purchase
