    hi all.:)

    I have Zone Alarm Security Suite 7.0.302.000 and Spywareblaster 3.5.1 with custom blocking list from this site http://koti.mbnet.fi/pattaya1/swb3.htm, whenever I scan using ZA Anti-Spyware it always detects that I have spyware because of these two registry keys:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\]{A2B7A0F0-B697-4A71-8D91-43443F57D7BB}

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{9522B3FB-7A2B-4646-8AF6-36E7F593073C}

    The two reg keys appeared after I installed the custom blocking list and when I unchecked {A2B7A0F0-B697-4A71-8D91-43443F57D7BB} and {9522B3FB-7A2B-4646-8AF6-36E7F593073C} in Spywareblaster, ZA doesn't detect it anymore.

    Is it ok if I leave these two clsid unchecked in Spywareblaster so that ZA stops detecting it as spyware? or should I just let ZA ignore the two reg keys?

    Hello riccrd....Welcome to Wilders,

    Even tho I am not familar with the validity of that particular CLSID list....I do know those 2 entries are listed as badware on the BHO and Toolbar list maintained at CastleCops. With that being said I would suggest letting "ZA ignore the two reg keys" so that you can maintain protection for that badware.

    HTH,
