Just upgraded to build v4.940 by uninstalling build 4871 and installing the new version.
All seemed to go OK, but when I check the about screen the build version displayed is 4871. Has anybody else noticed this or have I done something stupid? |

Hello jaydub,
If you didn't do it, try rebooting your system in between the uninstall and the new install. This will stop the True Image services, which may be what has prevented a correct update. Regards |

Menorcaman,
The Uninstaller requires you to reboot afterwards anyway, so I don't think it's that. |

Famous last words. I should have looked before shooting my mouth off. There was an Acronis scheduler startup program and service running. Having got rid of those, I have reinstalled and build 4940 is now installed. Thank you for your word of wisdom However, it doesn't say much for the uninstaller software, does it? ![]() |

No, and it doesn't say much for the installer software either. Anyway, glad you managed to sort it. Regards |
