Hi:
I've been using the 30 day trial version of Nod32 2.7, and have configured it according to Blackspear's "Extra Settings" recommendations. So far I like what I'm seeing, but have one small problem- IMON is blocking the download of TV movie data in my Media Center. (XP MCE 2005). Specifically, when I open MCE>My TV>Movies, I get the pop-up message "MOVIE DATA NOT AVAILABLE... Media Center cannot connect to the Internet" If I Unload IMON and reboot, I have no problem. When I relaunch IMON, the problem comes back. Any suggestions for a workaround? |

Well, I realise this may not matter except to TV movie buffs using MCE, but after poking around, I found the solution:
1) Open NOD32 Control Center>IMON>Setup>Miscellaneous tab 2) Under "Exclusion" click on [Edit]. The "Exclude applications" box opens. 3) Click on [Add], and navigate to the C:\WINDOWS|EHOME| directory. 4) Click on ehshell.exe to hilite it, then on [Open]. 5) C:\WINDOWS|EHOME|ehshell.exe should appear in the "Exclude applications" box. Click on [OK] 6) In the IMON Setup>Miscellaneous tab, click on [OK]. |
