Default BitDefender free?

I am looking for another Backup AV scanner, BitDefender free isnt mentioned much, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it? (I use F-Prot for backup, but, I dont like the fact that it doesnt have atleast a internet update, and I have to manually update)

I looked at BitDefender free.

I'm pretty sure that it's a scanner and updater only.
It's not a bad choice for a backup scanner IMO.

Bitdefender 7.0 free seems to make a very good back up av. Being only an on access scanner it plays nice with most av's.
