Default What was the name of that program....

That you could install, that told you everything that you could possibly want to know about all the hardware on your computer?

It was free for a long time, but then it went "pay".

Can't remember the name of it to save my life. Pete

If you just want the most detailed information and not the benchmarks, here's one that will make you forget about Everest, Sandra and all the rest:

http://www.faronics.com/html/SysProfiler.asp

It's called System Profiler from Faronics, and it's free.

it sounds like Everest to me too. i really like pcwizard though when it comes to checking system specs. it also does benchmarking, and finds drivers and loads more. it's great!!

Exclamation Concerning SIW.....

I did have one instance after first installing SIW where my FW alerted me that it was trying to send home an e mail. I blocked it. The program still functioned fine. I then promptly removed it. And yes, I had d\l`d it from the Authors website.
