The Wifes` PC is running a Diamond Radeon 59250 PCI 256 DDR w/DVI/TV Out on Win XP Pro. It is currently running dual LCDs` via the normal VGA for the primary monitor and a DVI to VGA adapter for the secondary. What I have been fighting all afternoon trying to do is use the TV-out (s-video) to connect to our TV. The TV is several years old and only has RCA jacks for the aux. in on the back. I have the proper s-video to 3 RCA cable (1 = video, 2= left channel audio, 3= right channel audio) But for the life of me XP will not see the TV. Anyone doing this\tried doing this\had any luck doing this? Any links, info, advice appreciated.

I can only think of the obvious that you probably know: right click on the wallpaper, properties, last tab, right click on no.2 screen- properties, and you should see a lot of options- more than 5 tabs.
What do you see in this window?

That is what I can not figure out. The previous drivers had the tabs you mention. Among them was a tab with LCD, CRT, TV and RFD. However all but the 2 LCDs` were grayed out. I d\l the latest catalyst\driver package for the card and that tab was no longer available. It was at that point I decided to leave my few remaining strands of hair intact and walk away for a while. I will do a driver roll-back a bit later to at least regain that tab. Really appreciate the quick reply. But right now I promised the Mrs. I would spend some time with her. I shall return. |
