winoptimizer is cool....... if it works on your machine, personally ive used it twice... first time it ran ok, but a few months later i installed it again and it wouldnt work, so maybe try it yourself, if it works... its great software, as for the other 2, i dont think you really need them.

ive tried other versions of their PowerUp product, and its mostly a system tweaker. theres better alternatives for such purpose.

I believe Ashampoo is moving on to their Winoptimizer 4 soon so it may be better to wait and make an offer on that. Otherwise you'll probably have to pay again to upgrade. I have tried their free versions before. WinOP 2 has worked pretty well while I have had trouble with WinOp 3 crashing despite several uninstall/re-installs.

Hi

Aw shucks - sucker for what sounds like a deal so bought them anyway

.... and.

Quite impressed so far, especially with WinOptimizer. No crashes as yet and there's some quite nice features and I'm down to 33 starting process from 41 which is nice.

For a tenner for all three I think that's pretty good value.

Thanks to all who replied for their input.

Purchased Ashampoo Office 2006 this week for $16.99. Discount offered by email.

I think that Office 2006 is really great for it's price. It accepts my documents without flaws. Light on resources too.

My son uses Ashampoo's Magical Defrag on his PC. It's a 'proactive' defrqgger that works very nicely and doesn't consume much in the way of resources. However, like other defraggers it is not for anyone using an 'instant restorer' (like Rollback Rx)!

Yes... Ver 4 (Vista Ready) is about to release soon... (few more days to go)

Here the Link for the promotion

Ashampoo® WinOptimizer 4 not to debut until next week

Developing team stands up to CEO!

Today was supposed to be the day: The new Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4 was set to see the light of day this wednesday - following an extensive period of development.
The CEO had already pulled out all the stops to publish and market the Vista compatible Windows® fine-tuner.

However, in the end the Ashampoo staff has prevailed over their boss. They demanded one more week of development time and eventually got it. A staffer:
"This is about polishing details below the surface and tightening some last loose screws. We just need a couple more days, then WinOptimizer 4 is going to be just fine. We are hoping our customers will understand the slightly prolonged waiting time is being used to improve the product's quality."

The CEO concedes: "Well, then we will sacrifice one week of profit in order to meet our high standards of quality and ask all customers for just a little more patience."

Agree... but their Ashampoo® Photo Commander 5 isn't that bad. Its had replaced my ACDSee 8. Light in resource compare to ACDSee. And what about their Ashampoo® UnInstaller Platinum 2?

I use few of their products... so far so good. I am expecting their Security product to improve...

The Burning Studio consider one of their best... I like the Magical Snap and the Photo Commander. To be frank, my wife is complaining or nagging at me... cos I bought and upgrade their product when I needed... but what can I can do when they can offer you so much... Offer them your price, they might just accept it; like I did on the AV... Or Stake your claim for the best price; and USD$15.79 is what I paid for my Photo Commander.

Happy User of Ashampoo for years...
