I have a 500GB disk with 250GB + 250 GB extended partitions for datas only
How can i clone ONE 250GB partition on a second HD with the same layout and with ONE 250GB free space: i do'nt have min. 100GB free to make a backup (and then a restore) on another partition Anyway, direct cloning will be also faster than a backup, and after that a restore To now, i'm using drive image 6 or drive image 7 to do so Is ATI able to clone directly one partition? Hello Brolskoff,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software. We are sorry for the delayed response. Please note that cloning procedure can only clone the whole drive, not separate partitions. The solution that can copy separate partitions (as well as perform many other disk management tasks) is Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0. You can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 in the respective User's Guide. Please visit Acronis online store to purchase the full version of the product. Notice that we have a separate forum branch for Acronis Disk Director Suite. If you have more questions about Acronis Disk Director Suite, you can ask them there to receive more detailed help. Thank you. -- Marat Setdikov
