Default LnS and VPN

On the page, which claire suggested (http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm), I saw 2 importable rules for VPN usage.

Since I need to use VPN in a few days:
(1) Does it work in combination with LnS ? I assume YES
(2) Do I need to import both VPN-rules, or only the one for network computing VNC ?? Yah, I can do the try and error, but maybe someone already knows

Thanks for help
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Depending on what exactly (which VPN product) you are trying to achieve, this old thread might be of interest also.
AFAIU, VNC is a specific remote-control program, not a way to create a virtual private network over a public internet. And possibly the different VPN standards use different ports and protocols. There is protocol 47 in the VPN ruleset on the page you referenced, but in the thread I mentioned I had better success with 50/51 and some tweaks.
Tell us if you make progress...

HTHH,
Andreas
