On the page, which claire suggested (http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm), I saw 2 importable rules for VPN usage.
Since I need to use VPN in a few days: (1) Does it work in combination with LnS ? I assume YES ![]() (2) Do I need to import both VPN-rules, or only the one for network computing VNC ?? Yah, I can do the try and error, but maybe someone already knows ![]() Thanks for help Thomas |

Hi Thomas,
Depending on what exactly (which VPN product) you are trying to achieve, this old thread might be of interest also. AFAIU, VNC is a specific remote-control program, not a way to create a virtual private network over a public internet. And possibly the different VPN standards use different ports and protocols. There is protocol 47 in the VPN ruleset on the page you referenced, but in the thread I mentioned I had better success with 50/51 and some tweaks. Tell us if you make progress... HTHH, Andreas
