hi there, i am seeking a looknstop rule to block incoming connection requests to port 1025. i have tried various rules of my own making but shields up still shows my port 1025 as open. any help much appreciated

You using EnhancedRulesSet.rls? If not load it up.... ![]() If the tests still shows that port open for the unaltered EnhancedRulesSet.rls than the Scans results are obviously false... ![]()

merci, yes, i have tride enhanced ruleset with correct adjustments but my connection is effected to the point where i cannot get any web connection at all

Not normal, try re-booting few times after loading that rule-set.
If problem still exist try modifying that rule-set rule label "UDP : Authorize name resolution (DNS)", change "Equal my @" to ALL.
