Default Superantispyware question

SAS seems to not be auto-updating. I usually leave my system on standby when not using it; does SAS know when 8 hours is up and automatically update when the system is turned back on or what? How does the auto-update work? No pop-ups to notify you? Yes, I do have the pro version. Thanks.

If you are in standby, it can't wake up and do the update.
