I had Messenger PLUS takeover my work PC, and a customer has the ShopatHome infiltration. I now use SpywareGuard, I gather this is likely to stop future infections and web-browser hijacking.

Can anyone confirm this?

Cheers

Hi Blackspear,

Yep SpywareGuard will definately be an important addon to your PC's security setup.

May I suggest this other great blocking tool, also freeware :

SpywareBlaster

An interesting read on that download page as well.

Those two together will have you much better protected against infiltrating malware

Don't forget to frequently update both tools (if you choose to install them that is ), let's say once a week, by using their build-in updaters.

Take care!

BTW : Were the problems solved now?

Cheers,
