    Runs very light, but still no excluder :'(

    Be careful from where you buy it as it could be one of the Pirate copies of Ashampoo, have a read through this thread [the Ashampoo bit starts near the bottom of page two] from Macecraft Software Online Discussion Forums:- Legitimate version?.

    This offer is from the ashampoo web site. But The antivirus that Ashampoo is useing is not avira. It is an in house av.

    Just remember it is 6.37 not 7.0.

    But for $10 it is not bad.

    If it is avira they have really screwed it up as avira runs flawlessly on my comp and Ashampoo'ss antivirus crashed my computer everytime I tried to open it on the desktop. I even uninstalled and reinstalled three times with the same results. If I want to run Antivir I will go to the Antivir site and get it.

    How about a free license. I got this from a link and all you have to do is register on their site for the free full license. The will then send you a confirmation link to the email address you gave, once you click on it they will then send you the full license email. Then just download the app from their site and use the supplied serial number they sent you.

    i know this may sound like a stupid question,

    but why are ashampoo giving most of their products for free?

    because for the ones ive tried, such as burning studio and winoptimizer, they are good programs.

    I don't think it is that they are giving them away for free on a large scale or anything like that. Your right they are good programs, they apparently give away select titles at various times through magazine offers and contests, etc. However the past few months I have scoured the net for these types of deals from various companies and had just compiled a list of the links I had found. So you guys are getting the benefit of all the compiling I did and not that they are giving these away all at once as it may seem.

    ive heard their firewall PRO version is good, shame it isnt on there for people.

    cant have everything for free though can you. :D

    Is the WinOptimizer 2007 the same thing as WinOptimizer Platinum 3? Or is it their WinOptimizer Platinum 4 release that has not been made available to the rest of the public yet?
