False Positive?

    Anyone else getting a detection of TrojanDropper.Agent.NDN trojan - when downloading MSN Messenger from the MSN Windows live site (direct link from within windows?)

    Just read one of your other posts to someone else, 1945 updates have fixed this problem.

    Absolutely! When I ran an in-depth scan this morning, NOD "found" 6 instances of this in various places.:eek:

    same here but for files something like wextract.exe. Unfortunately told NOD to delete ad now have aggro with windows hassling me about files being replaced and telling me to insert XP Pro SP2 dsc which I do not have - only an OEM non service pack version that it doesn't like!

    Hello, can one maybe get an understandable answer from someone. Is it False Positiv or not ? I got a lot of alerts and deleted some "infected" files

    dont think so as deleted - not sent to quarantine. unless anyone else knows better.

    also told me a restore point was infected with same trojan. deleting this no big deal tho.

    Yep, I did the same thing and am getting the same messageo_O. Fortunately, I do have the disk. I'll have to figure out how or when to utilize it, unless I get the screen again that tells me to insert that disk.
