Default Is MRU Still supported?

Since there have been no updates in 3 months -- I feel that it is fair to ask whether the program has been abandoned or not?

Hi melow,

Well, MRU's aren't like viruses. A new MRU is not released into the wild every day. MRU Blaster cleans hundreds of known MRUs, as well as temporary Internet files (i.e. browser cache) and cookies, too. These things don't need updates in order to continue to be cleaned. They don't change.

However, as people suggest new items to be cleaned, Javacool looks at them and determines those that are a priority and she'll he'll add them when resources are available.

- Fixed typo.

Thanks so much for the reply LowWaterMark

I have to tell you that I am pleasantly surprised to find out that the talented person behind this program is a female -- That is really great!

OOPs!
If you feel that Mr. Javacool would be upset by his gender having been put into question -- mayhaps you should eliminate the posts about it -- I will leave it up to you?

It is still a good idea -- I am sure that there are some talented ladies out there somewhere -- at least that is what I keep telling my granddaughters - since our people are Matriarchal -- I get most excited when I see women getting ahead in this world.

I remember that Javacool had promised to develop a version which would allow users to identify apps with MRU's, and have the program clean them up. That would save a lot of updates because apps would not have to be identified one at a time for Javacool to program.
I've been thinking that the delay was caused by adding that valuable feature. Hope I'm right. Any comment?

I am attempting to add this feature as well as finish up a major upgrade of the program, but both are proving to be quite time-consuming.

I'll try to release a bug-fix/database update build soon (it won't include the new features you mentioned above, but it will include added items in the database).

Best regards,

-Javacool
