Does anyone know if the forum at http://www.greatissoftware.com/ is still maintained or not? I went there yesterday and only found spam posts.

Hello lu_chin,

To the best of my knowledge, the Greatis software forum at http://www.greatissoftware.com/forums/ is still maintained, but has not been very active for quite some time. For quicker replies, I have personally found that either opening a Greatis support ticket or posting a question or technical issue at Wilders is more timely.

Peace & Love,

muf,

FYI, Dmitry has informed me that RRP 5.0 does in fact have UnHackMe 4.0. The only problem is with the version number. He says that a fix is in the works.

Thanks CogitoErgoSum. I just went to the forum again before posting this. I still only found a few totally unrelated spam/advertisement posts in all the sections in the forum. I had also emailed Greatis Software to find out why Partizan and Unhackme scans were both so blazingly fast (in seconds) and whether they could detect recent rootkits like Gromozon or Rustock.A or not.

I had downloaded the trial version of Regrun Platinum 5.0 which contained Unhackme 3.5 beta. Does anyone know how to upgrade that to 4.0? I had tried to use Web Update inside RR but it said that it was up-to-date already.

Thanks.

I did receive a quick reply from Dmitry. He thought the problem might be with my hard drive as there should not be any incompatibility between Perfectdisk 8.0 and RegRun with Partizan. Actually I believe the problem I had was with my registry which apparently had some corruption. I restored from an earlier registry backup that I had created from RegRun itself, and everything is fine now. Pagefile and Sytem file defrag with Perfectdisk 8.0 performs flawlessly with no problem from RegRun.
