Default Backup Locations on Network Dont Get Managed

I've tried contacting Acronis support in the normal way, but no joy, so I'll try a forum post instead.

My issue is with management facilities for locations on the network. I would like to limiting backups by time, size or number as offered as a feature in V10, But I cant get it to work.

THe issue appears to be about networked machines. On the local machine, it all works as it should. But this is not very useful.

I have done a series of tests which I have illustrated as screengrabs and narraitive in a PNG attached (cant attach ZIP or PDF). If anyone can help, including Acronis, I would be obliged.
