Hi
I work for a waterjet company and we build cnc machines which uses a P.C. interface and a PLC for XYZ axis movement. (like a robot) What I have been doing is cofiguring the P.C. with all of our software and then using ATI 9.0 build 3633 to copy the harddrive to a 5 disk cd set as a backup for our customers. So far so good but is it really the best way to do it, and can it be trusted say 5 years down the road.

Each customer should have their own licensed copy of TrueImage, or you should work out a multiple license agreement with Acronis. Without that, you are involved in pirating software which is a bad practice for a reputable business.

I have bought a Acronis CD for each machine that leaves here with the 5 disk backup set. But is there a better way to do it? We also have a older system that we buy the software from a different company and we load the system with some kind Linux cd and it works great. Is there a way to put the system onto a Linux interface.
