Question SR-1 Premium trying to install on Excel

When trying to open Windows 2000 Office (Excel) I receive an error message saying that the computer is trying to install Windows 2000 office SR-1 Premium. It tries to install, then fails, but the program still runs, and documents can still be viewed, printed, etc. Now it's asking for the Windows Office disk. Which would be easy except I didn't receive any disks when I bought the computer. Is it a virus or missing files? I'm stumped. How can I recover anything without a disk? Please any help would be great.

If you purchased the computer new the Office Software maybe a Trial version to check open excel the click on help then on about. If not a trial version you may need to request a copy from whomever/wherever you purchased your computer from. also you may want to check out microsoft office site to check for updates and see if sr-1 is in the list but most will require a cd to install. good luck
