I have had ATI for years and it has worked very well. TI8 took about 40 mins to do a full image. TI9 then slowed down and although it said it would take about 48 mins it was taking a great deal longer. Now with TI10 it told me it would take 48 mins and actually took 80! I have 55-60gb to image ( I image weekly in case of disk death!). Any ideas on this?

In Windows or Recovery disk?
Was the image size roughly the same in all cases from TI8 - 10. Are you still imaging to the same backup device? What is it? Over the versions there have been reports of some (but not all) people finding one version or another working more slowly in Windows. If it is the Recovery disk version then it could be a changed device driver that is not the best for your hardware, typically a USB drive. If in Windows have a look in your Event Logger files for any possible problems - this is a bit of a longshot but you never know. |

In Windows. Just doing routine imaging - copying to an external Maxtor which I have had for a few years. Will check event logs. It happened the minute I upgraded from TI8 to 9 - I have hoped that maybe 10 would be different! I see that Ghost is much quicker ( saw it in action on another machine ) and wonder why ( maybe that is very simplistic!!). As far as I can tell, the new installation of 10 ( today ) seems to have worked. I have not tried to restore the image but have explored it and made sure that files are available
