After changing how I was searching, I found several threads indicating that I can't do this even though in the 'Wish List' it was requested and that it is indicated that the feature was implemented.
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=85595 in the 6th entery down How do I exclude a directory and all of it's contents from a backup? I understand that tis ability is there (see : http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=85595 - the 6th entry) Here is what I've tried so far in the exclusion filter: c:\DVD\*.* c:\DVD\* c:\DVD\*\*.* After the backup finishes, I browse the resulting file and the folder DVD is still there with all of it's contents. Any ideas? Thanks..Curt David PS A validation process for exclusions might be useful in future releases. Last edited by cgd : November 17th, 2006 at 11:03 PM. |
