Angry mozilla firefox trouble

Hello everybody..

I am facing this problem from a long time and its kind of strange. Its a long story since this problem has been started. I downloaded and installed Firefox 5 months ago and at that time it was working fine. Just after that I installed a software for hiding my ip address online. After installing that software , it changed some settings in firefox as I noticed there was an ip address in proxy server settings. I uninstalled that software, and made changes to firefox so that I can use it without proxy settings. But even after making changes , firefox didnt accept the changes and keep coming back to those old proxy settings. I uninstalled firefox as well. Now after 5 months , I reinstalled firefox and guess what , I am back to ground zero. I need some help in this matter.

when u uninstalled firefox, did u also delete your profile?

if not, your can just create a new profile and see if that fixes the problem.
