No mate its not , i wasted money on it and im making it my job to tell everyone i can , i made a comment about ot on cnet downloads site (user reviews for the product) and my comments have since completely vanished , strange that eh

The only time i really needed it , i was infected with some nasty malware and having allsorts of problems....did Ashampoo find it?? NO. Waste of money.

I ended up trying Prevx1 which found problem and removed it , ive since purchased Prevx1 but as im no expert its not up to me to recommend it....it is good though

One more thing Ashampoo has a guard patrol thingy that you can run in the background checking for threats "on the fly" , that doesnt work either and randomly maxed out my CPU.

That's bad. Sorry for you. My first impression on it was it is a good product.

mine to. thanks for your comments on the product.

oddly i have seen tons of bad reviews of f-secure on cnet download.com and they have been there for years. btw this isn't another nag at f-secure it was just to point out bad reviews happern to stay on cnet download.com and the people writing the bad reviews about f-secure seemed like they had two av's install at the same time IMO.

anyway other than superantispyware what do you people reccomend?

If you look at the properties of Ashampoo AntiSpyWare's "engine.dll" file, you can see that it's from a-squared origin.

Best regards,
Firefighter!
