BullGuard 7.0 beta 2 is in progress
I have to say it is great. It is very low on resources, even lower than NOD32!!! But it has more.
    AntiVirus
    AntiSpyware
    Antspam
    Firewall
    Backup

I have to say i was impressed. I'm a huge Kaspersky fan. But with an antivirus of Bitdefender , a firewall from Outpost they made a huge step to the most common AV.

    Keep you posted

VERY BIG THANKS Sjoeii :) This really looks good! Especially the mem usage. Will they make a public beta for more than 2000 users or..? o_O

Really looking forward for this suite and NIS 2007 :thumb:

Right now it is a closed beta group. The application will be released I think somewhere Oktobre.
There is still beta 3 on the way.

Looks good so far. From what I see, BullGuard seems to be using BitDefender engine for spyware detection, which is a good thing. However, they could have done the same for BullGuard 6.x users, as all it required to enable spyware scan was some additional databases and one extra scanning module.

I like very much Bull Guard's interface. :)
And I would choose it instead of Bit Defender as long as they use the same engine. :)

looks nice but i still preder the antivir interface. but i likle the fact its now using bitdefender engine so the detection rates should be great.

When you open Windows Task Manager , hit view tab then hit Select Coulums and check Virtual Memory Size.

so most av's now have only 2 processes. but f-secure beta still has like 10 which is to many.

While not related to the Beta test, I downloaded Bullguard 6.1 today. I have seen some conflicting information about the package. I read where the package has 'cookie blocking' but I can't seen to locate the controls.

I have set the firewall to 'advanced' but still see nothing about cookies. I am beginning to suspect it was in an older release and is no longer part of the latest package. Can someone shed some light on this please?
